Late Bloomers

Original Photo

Impressionist Version
Well, its been a pretty cold spring here in northern Utah.  In spite of  it all this cherry tree has its buds.  I was impressed by that one plucky blossom that opened up before all of the others.  Hopefully a bee makes its way to it to pollinate before it dies.  I hope that you like the "impressionist" version as much as I did.  Like always my picture are free to download for personal use.  If you want to use it for commercial reasons please contact me first.

Half Staff--In memorium

Original Photo
Pastel Version
With all of the tragedy this week I've been feeling pensive.  I really don't know any of the people who were hurt or killed but I have known people who have died for something or people who lived for something that have died.  At the school I work at I found my self looking at the flag quite a bit.  Then I noticed the white tree blossoms all of this thinking was a great muse.  I hope you like the picture.  the artistic version is a pastel filter.  enjoy

A Day in the Park

Original Photo

Pastel Version
Hello Everybody,

Yesterday I was in Layton Commons Park in Utah.  I know that probably a lot of photographers have taken this shop.  I'm sure its been the stage for many bridal and engagement photos.  However this was my turn.  I might have to visit this spot when more of the leaves have changed colors.  I really loved the pastel version of this picture.  I hope you like them.

Hooper, UT at Sunset

Actual Photo
This is another picture I took in Hooper that night of that birthday party.  I think the tree kind of looks like a giant bonsai tree.  Like I said before this was one of the most glorious sunsets I've ever seen. I really hope you enjoy this picture.  I really loved the artistic Version.  Like always its free to download for personal reasons.  Commercial uses you need to contact me.

A Solitary Tulip

Actual Photo

The school where I work has many tulips.  I thought this particular solitary tulip would be photogenic and I was right.  I really love tulips for some reason.  Maybe because they signify the beginning of spring.  Like always, you can download these images for personal uses.  I hope you enjoy.

Around the Bend

Actual Photo
Pastel Version
This is another one I took while waiting for the time to spray mosquitoes.  I took it out at the bottom of Gentile in west Layton.  I actually thought this one would make a good picture at sunset.  It took a while for me to be there at the night of a pretty sunset.  I was finally excited to take the picture.
